Girmatic AG was founded in 2006 through a management buy-out by Christoph Girsberger of the hydraulics/pneumatics departments of the engineering company Hydrel GmbH in Romanshorn. In 2008, ASB Systeme from Einsiedeln was acquired, which enabled joysticks to be added to the product portfolio. In 2012, the entrepreneur Christoph Girsberger bought the two business units drive technology and hydraulics from Vektor AG and founded Girtec AG in Nänikon. Furthermore, the Girsberger Group AG was also created at this time, which unites both companies under one roof and enables optimal use of synergies. In mid-2020, the mobile hydraulics and drive technology divisions from Girtec AG were integrated into Girmatic AG. Today, Girmatic AG is proud of its excellent products and services in the areas of industrial hydraulics, mobile hydraulics and automation. The strong market position is based on the broad technical and commercial know-how, which enables us to offer our customers a comprehensive service ranging from precisely matching standard products to individual customer-specific solutions and various services.
